The 2009 Tanod Night and the SK Youth Arnis Anyo Tournament Championships were jointly presented by the Brgy. Luna (Lapaz District) Council and the Lightning Scientific Arnis International-Philippine Dynamic Arnis (LSAI-PDA) under Founder/Grandmaster Rogelio H. Galvarole last June 14, 2009 at the Brgy. Luna, Lapaz District, Iloilo City , Panay .
The Arnis anyo competition, whch uses PDA rules, was topped by the lone District of Iloilo with the districts of Lapaz and Molo at 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
GREEN BELT DIVISION. 12 Years Old Below Solo Bastion: Christian James Torre, Crystal Jhon Torre, and Roland Lacorita (gold medalists), Louella Agnes Eribal, Jezzyl Poblacion, Rojie Francisco, and Rolenz Lacorita (silver medalists), and Linmar Poblacion, Japhet Poblacion, Chyna Formacion, Jhon Lord Villaruel (bronze medalists).
BROWN BELT DIVISION. Solo Bastion: Analyn Estrilles (gold), Jenelyn Delfin (silver), and Rolin Laxa (bronze). Doble Bastion: Mary Cathlene Dayon, Jenelyn Delfin, and G. Lacorita (gold medalists), Herman Clarito and Analyn Estrilles (silver medalists), and Rolin Laxa (bronze).
The Philippine Dynamic Arnis (PDA) was founded by Grandmaster Rogelio H. Galvarole in 1980 in Lapaz, Iloilo City as a sister club of his Philippine Si-Su-Do Philippine (PSSA). PDA affiliated with the Lightning Scientific Arnis International (LSAI)-Capiz Chapter of Grandmaster Carlito A. Ondillo on December 31, 2001 and is now known as Lightning Scientific Arnis International-Philippine Dynamic Arnis (LSAI-PDA). GM Galvarole was awarded his 7th Degree Red and White Belt in LSAI by GM Ondillo and was appointed as LSAI Organizer and Lecturer for Iloilo City and Province and Region 6. LSAI-PDA is a recognized member of the Intercontinental Federation of Filipino Martial Arts Schools (IFFMAS).
