Tribe W.A.R. VI was successfully held by the Tribu Hangaway Philippines (THP) of Founder/Master Roy R. Flores Sr., 6th Degree Black Belt Tapondo, in cooperation with Aksyon Radio 91and Casino Filipino Pagcor Hotel thru Raymund Gatuslao last April 24, 2010 at the Casino Filipino Amphitheater, Goldenfields Commercial Complex, Bacolod City.

8 Wushu Sanshou and 7 Submission Grappling bouts were contested with the participation of 11 martial arts organizations from Bacolod, Escalante, Talisay, and Victorias Cities.

WUSHU SANSHOU DIVISION. Crowned division champion was Black Falcon Martial Arts Association (BFMAA)-Main of Chief Instructor Joery C. Amante with 3 wins, 1 loss. 2nd to 5th places were Tribu Hangaway Philippines (THP) of Founder/Master Roy R. Flores Sr. and Escalante School of Martial Arts (ESMA) of Founder/Chief Instructor Jesus “Jessie” Flores (2-1 each), Pabalinas Fighters (Victorias) under Nilrax de Café (1-1), Octagon Martial Arts (OMA) of Founder/Chief Instructor Carmelino “Jun” Rojo (0-3), and Bassdumas (Talisay) of Founder/Chief Instructor Ian B. Negrido (0-1).

Mylbert Nueva of ESMA over Bernard Rojo of OMA via surrender at 1.15 of the 1st round. Arnel Baldicer of THP over Oliver Reynoso of OMA via 2nd round stoppage. Dondon Vegeras of ESMA over Joselito Bianan of BFMAA-Main via surrender at 1.22 of the 2nd round. Rosendo Trayco III of BFMAA-Main over Ali Agupasa of ESMA. Ariel Guanzon of THP over Reny Batolina of PF. Randy de Asis of PF over Jan Michael Nillos of THP.

Mylbert Nueva of ESMA overpowered with opponent with two powerful textbook suplexes which caused the submission of his opponent. His teammate Dondon Vegeras peppered his opponent with thundering counter kicks which also forced his foe to submit.

GRAPPLING DIVISION. Crowned division champion was Submission Sport Philippines-Bacolod Team (SSP-BT) of Adrian Hillana with 3 wins, 1 loss. 2nd to 5th places were Affinity Bacolod of Chester Laquian (2-1), Tribu Hangaway Philippines (THP) of Founder/Master Roy R. Flores Sr. (1-3), Octagon Martial Arts (OMA) of Founder/Chief Instructor Carmelino “Jun” Rojo (1-1), and Team Fusion of Mohammed El Hello (0-01).

Ronald Delariante of THP over Bryle Chua. Gerald Retome of OMA over Jerry de la Cruz of THP. GM Garcia of SSP-BT over Dariy Lausa of THP. Joseph Macasa of affinity over Lyle Perje of THP via submission with an armbar at 3.52 of the bout. Mark Peronce of SSP-BT over Reno delachina of OMA via submission with a rear naked choke with hooks at 1.40 of the bout. Michael Regalado of SSP-BT over Edward Molina of OMA at 1.43 of the bout. Charles del Castillo of affinity over Richard Dulaca of Team Fusion. The match between del Castillo and Dulaca was the only gi match and the main event of the tournament.
