The Inter-Private Schools Taekwondo Competition was held on september 12, 2009 at the Colegio de Sto. Tomas Recoletos, San Carlos City.
The Colegio de Sta. Rita (CSR) Team under Founder/Chief Instructor Deomedes N. Mamugay of the San Carlos Jungle Fighters Martial Arts Club (SACA JUFIMAC) took home 3 gold (2 in elementary girls and 1 in high school girls), 4 silver (1 in elementary boys, 2 in high school girls, and 1 in high school boys), and 1 bronze medals (high school boys).
The central Negros College (CNC) Team, also under F/CI Mamugay, carted away 3 gold (high school boys), 1 silver (high school girls), and 1 bronze medals.
The medalists will participate in the division Meet on October 30, 2009 which will be held in Gaisano San Carlos.
