The College of Accountancy, Business Education and Computer Studies (CABECS) successfully conducted its Community Extension Program (CEP) Orientation on August 2, 2017 at the Auditorium, Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B).
Dean Ma. Aurora Villanueva, Ph.D., gave the opening remarks while Desiree D. Diel, RN, M.N., CEP Head, and Ma. Ines G. Lacson, MA.Ed, CABECS Outreach Coordinator, spoke on the updates on the institutional CEP and the departmental CEP respectively. Master of Ceremonies was Camille Hope Macabales of BSAct 3A.
The orientation, which was attended by students of different courses under the CABECS banner, was to jump start the institution’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for this school year. The previous years saw several highly successful projects undertaken by CABECS to help the community and its poverty stricken sectors, among them mangrove planting and peanut butter making for livelihood training for mother-housewives.
CSA-B’s CEP puts to action the values it teaches in helping and giving back to society for its welfare and betterment.
