Riverside College to Celebrate Entrepreneurship Month by: James U. Sy Jr.

Riverside College, Inc.’s Entrepreneurship Month Celebration will be officially opened by the College of Entrepreneurship under Department Chair Leonor A. de la Cruz this coming July 3, 2017 with the theme “Gearing up to meet the challenges of the future with confidence, integrity and faith in God.”
The opening salvo will be led by Samuel Z. Lee, MBM, President of Riverside College, Inc., and Norberto De Ocampo, an entrepreneur and COO of SRDC, will grace the event as the Guest Speaker. Praise and worship will be conducted by Ikthus Magnification while Instructor Gil Alfredo B. Severino of the College of Arts and Sciences will give the reflection. Instructors Jennette Lopez and Jasmine Arricivita will be masters of ceremonies.
Riverside College, Inc. was founded by Dr. Pablo O. Torre, Sr. In 1961 with the mission of being “committed to the holistic formation of highly competent, competitive, and Christocentric men and women equipped to respond to the challenges and opportunities of a fast changing global society” and the vision of becoming “a world class institution of higher learning in the Philippines. It aspires to be at the forefront of quality education, responsive community services and relevant research, and become a key provider of leaders and professionals in the country and the world.”
Riverside College is the first school affiliated with a teaching hospital (Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital, formerly the Riverside Medical Center) to be established in Bacolod City.
