BCC's "The Best of BSBE" Honored

A total of 60 top performing 2nd to 4th year students of the BS Business Education (BSBE) Dept. of the Bacolod City College (BCC) was recognized by their instructor for their dedication and good study habits during "The Best of BSBE" Awarding Ceremony on April 8, 2016 at the Negosyo Center, Negros Occidental Barangay Center (NOBC) bldg., Gatuslao St., Bacolod City.
Those honored achieved a grade of 96% to 100% in the subjects Entrepreneurship (Entrep), Finance 1 (Fin 1), Foreign Language 1 (Forel 1), Marketing Management 101 (MM 101), and Professional Salaesmanship (ProSales), all taught by Full Time Instructor James U. Sy Jr. for 1st and 2nd semester SY 2014-2015 and 1st semester SY 2015-2016.
Guest speakers for the event were Ma. Cristina Barrios-Parcon, Philippine Normal College BEED Cumlaude and Local Legislative Staff, Sangguniang Panglungsod-Bacolod City, who was the proxy for Hon. Councilor Wilson "Jun" C. Gamboa Jr., and Gil Alfredo B. Severino, online English instructor and Negros Daily Bulletin (NDB) feature writer. Those who received their certificates of recognition in person were as follow:

The BSBE Dept., under the coordinatorship of Felipe R. Chin Jr., CPA, MBA, produced 8 Cumlaudes during this year's Graduation Rites of the Bacolod City College (BCC), 6 of which were among those honored in "The Best of BSBE." The 8 Cumlaudes from the BSBE Dept. are Nonilyn S. Estocado, Teresa Flestado, Cresile Lozano (Top 2), Edelyn I. Mayordomo, Flaviano Pasigna, Joanne Camille T. Siacon, Mark Allain A. Tizon, and Arleene L. Tortogo.
