Bank of Commerce Hosts CASAP-Bacolod’s DBM 1A for Bank Tour

Sy Jr., were welcomed and hosted by Branch Manager Mark Ojera and Assistant Manager Leni Dujon-Leong for a Bank Orientation and Bank Tour last November 11, 2016 at the Bank of Commerce-888 Chinatown Square Premiere Mall Branch, Gatuslao St., Bacolod City. The bank tour was part of the course requirements for the subject Principles of Finance, which covers money, banking, and credit, and aims to expose students to banking functions and operation in real life. Ojera and Leong gave a short talk on the importance of banking institutions in the Philippine financial system and the value of savings among the youth. The bank tour is among the efforts of College of Arts & Sciences of Asia and the Pacific (CASAP)-Bacolod Campus under the leadership of School Director Jun C. Montaño, MPA, and College Dean Maximo F. Torrento Jr. to equip students and make them more competitive to the demands of the globalized industry. The College of Arts & Sciences of Asia & the Pacific (CASAP) is a private educational institution founded by Hon. former Marikina Mayor Ma. Lourdes C. Fernando in 2010 in Marikina City, currently with 4 separate campuses nationwide.
