The newly founded Kabarangay Times introduced its first ever column dedicated to the martial arts on its February 20, 2004 issue. The column is entitled “Way of the Warrior” and is written by James U. Sy Jr. of the Conceptual Martial Arts Society, the premier martial arts researcher and writer in the Negros Island. The column’s maiden article was entitled “Martial Arts as Arts of Peace.”
Kabarangay Times first hit the newsstand on January 23, 2004.
