FRANCO SHIHAN CONDUCTS A.S.K.-BACOLOD PROMOTIONAL EXAMS

Philippine Karate-do Federation (PKF) National Referee Council Chairman Ramon S. Franco Shihan of Tacloban City, 6th dan black belt, conducted an All A.S.K. Kyu Ranks Examination and Referee Seminar under the auspices of the Advocacy for the Strengthening of Karate-do (A.S.K.) last November 4-6, 2005 in Bacolod City. Host was A.S.K.-Bacolod Head Instructor Edilberto “Bert” A. Arcositas Sensei, Founder/Chief Instructor of Bertar Karate Kan.

Kyu rank promotion candidates who took and passed the examinations were Chomin Aberasturri, Maryver Cordova, Dominique Mijares, and Marianne Sioson (yellow belt), Charity Salario (green belt), Helen Cañete, John David and Michael Robin Lizares, and Stephanie Uberas (blue belt).

Bertar Karate Kan is the official representative of the Advocacy for the Strengthening of Karate-do (A.S.K.) in Bacolod City and is a registered member of the Philippine Karate-do Federation (PKF).
