The Bacolod Kickboxing Team under Wushu Federation of the Philippines (WFP) Negros Occidental Coordinator Joery C. Amante was crowned overall champion in the 1st Dancalan Battle of the Champions Kickboxing Tournament held last December 7, 2005 at Bgy. Dancalan, Municipality of Ilog, Negros Occidental, winning 5 of 8 bouts fought.
The Bacolod Kickboxing Team was composed of the Black Falcon Martial Arts Association-Main (BFMAA-Main) under Chief Instructor Joery C. Amante and the Conceptual Martial Arts Society-Porferia of under Narciso "Hansy" L. Alojado and James U. Sy, Jr. They faced the Ilog Kickboxing Team which was composed by the Philippine Combat Martial Arts (PHILCOMA) under Roy Javier and the White Budokan under Hernane Jenosa.
The event was organized by PHILCOMA head Instructor Roy Javier.

Joeben Rodriguez of CMAS Porferia over Emerson Lingutra of PHILCOMA via KO. Jet Lumawag of BFMAA-Main over Romeo Severino of White Budokan via KO. Romel Regalado of BFMAA-Main over Joemar Bodoban of PHILCOMA via KO. Ramie Seron of PHILCOMA over Rosendo Trayco of BFMAA-Main by points. Julius Dohinog of BFMAA-Main over Gerald Bantilus of PHILCOMA by points. Junjun Agudo of CMAS Porferia over Elleon Montalvo of PHILCOMA Joseph Alarcon by points.
Officials were Cristina Catubig (head judge), Gaudencio Tabanao, Rodolfo Tabanao, and Sherwin (judges), Analyn Amante (timer), and Reynalyn Jacob (whistler).
Sponsors were retired US Army Mr. Teodoro Vail, who provided the lodging, traveling, and meal allowances of the Bacolod Delegation; the Barangay Council of Dancalan, 5R Lumber, and Mr. Dan Tanate.
